Tea Curing

So all the stuff I made is uploaded a little differently this time, it's one large file that includes everything listed below. Later when it's ready for Pre-Release I'll separate everything so you can pick and chose what you want but everything is so interrelated it's going to take me a while to prep all the files. I know I listed all the items in my WIP Update post but I'm going to list them here as well in case someone missed it.

I've included the most updated versions of the Mill Appliance file and the Cookbook file which you'll need for these to work. You'll need the XmlInjector installed for teas to show up on the Teamaker.

Tea Curing

The first part to the whole process is curing tea leaves! You can find the recipe in the new category 'Curing and Preserving' in the Cookbook or by clicking on the Curing Shelves.

If you don't have Seasons the only way to cure tea leaves is by placing them on the Curing Shelf. The tea curing process needs and comes with the following items:

Milling Recipes

These aren't really different from any other milling recipes. I've included all the tea recipes in the 'Herbs & Spices' section but will likely add a section specifically for it in the future.

Teapot

This teapot functions like a drink tray and there are 2 options, you can 'Make' tea which uses ingredients at no cost, or you can 'Serve' tea and just pay to stock the tray.

Tea Recipes

These recipes can be created on the new teapot or they can be made on the Teamaker if you have the XmlInjector Installed. I also added 2 lactose free versions right before I posted this. 😁

I think that's everything but if I missed something let me know. I hope you all enjoy!

Comments

I have tried and tested this in my game, and I love it! However, I noticed that in your video, the ingredient said "tea leaves," while in my game, it reads "green tea leaves." When my Sim tried to collect the white tea while the trays were on the right side of the curing shelf, it would not allow my Sim to do so, and it canceled it twice. But it worked fine when my Sim retrieved the tray with the white tea from the left side. Not sure what happened and why, but my Sim was able to collect another tray from the lower right of the curing shelf this time. Other than what I have mentioned and that your mill continues to give me an LE, your tea curing mod is impressive.

Hi Tiffany, I can't get the tea curing racks either. I have been trying to figure it out and it's just not working for me. I can't get it to show up on the woodworking table. Cheating to get it from the debug section isn't allowing me to access it or put it in my inventory. I am at a loss here. I so want to get my gameplay going. :-)

Hello, I don't know if anyone else is having issues getting the tea curing racks and evolving the skill?
