Here's some random things I've been working on...

First is a commission WIP, that's part of a larger image. This is what I typically refer to as a "refined sketch", and it's usually the second update that a client gets for a commission. Brush strokes are still loose and messy, with overlapping lines, and shapes not perfectly defined; but the details of the objects start to come into play, character expressions are mostly locked-in, and expressive elements like hand poses are finalized. Per usual, the type of digital brush used is not as important as one might think, but I personally like to use a rough brush here to help visually distinguish from the clean, sharp lineart stage that comes next.

Next is a handful of some studies, based off of some various images I saved. I have hundreds of images saved across the various sites and platforms, and I like to peruse them every so often with the intent of at least sketching some of them out.

The third and fourth images are just alts of each other -- I have to practice drawing genitalia, as it does come up every so often in commissions, and in other projects. I'll be honest, drawing full nudity isn't my FAVORITE, as I find it kind of boring, and I do prefer the more widespread appeal of clothed barefoot gals. But, all that being said, I do want to improve on it, so I used my as-of-yet unnamed, non-binary OC as a little guinea pig.
