After watching the live stream it turns out I was right and the oversized veggies are completely different that the current plants we have. To grow them you have to purchase a jar of seeds and sprinkle them onto the garden plot tile, which is required to plant them.
Since I'm sure they will need to be made as separate objects I won't be creating versions for all harvestables that I have made/plan on making. Please leave some ideas below in the comments for crops that you would like to see as 'oversized' so I can get a better idea of which direction to go with them
Some things to keep in mind:
- Oversized crop seeds will give 3 sizes of veggies: Small, Medium, and Oversized
- Those sizes will depend on how well your sim has cared for them
- Oversized Crops are good for festival competitions
- Small and Medium crops are good for canning
- They cannot be grown on the ground
Again, let me know which types of harvestables you'd like to see as oversized and please feel free to throw out any other related ideas!

I am dying looking at the giant mushroom. would be awesome if it could also have properties that collaborate with other creators like spinning plumbob for a fairy house or basemental for psychedelic shrooms that are funny colors. maybe weird fertilizers that cause it. I just got off work. Just ignore if I am being too far fetched lol.
