Some Housekeeping…

So I’m a little behind; I’ve been getting through a big backlog of commissions, Patreon, and other work, but it’s been a lot! For the longest time, I was able to reasonably take a set amount of commissions per month, and I would usually fill up those slots without any issue. But over time, as the love and support for my work has gone up, so have the requests for commissions, and it’s become tough to keep up with. I’m always improving my skills as well, so some of my work has started taking a bit longer as well as I devote more time to extra details in commissions, to make them look as good as my supporters, clients, and fans expect.

This has become a bit of a “suffering from success” thing, where I’ve been so taken aback by the increase in demand, that I’m still figuring out how I can manage it all! This has meant that I’ve been a little late on Patreon posts and commissions, which is not fair to anyone! 😩

So, here’s the plan: this week, the two latter June exclusive will get posted. Then on the weekend or beginning of the following week, I’ll post the first exclusive of this month (July), and I’m gonna aim to have each new exclusive come out for each successive week. I’ll be dedicating time more effectively to make sure that I get these exclusives out for you all, since you deserve it and more! I never take your support for granted.

As for commissions, you may have also noticed that about two months ago I raised prices a little bit. Not much an exorbitant amount, but enough to reflect both my steady increase in skill and the quality of my artwork, and the raw greater time invested in each. I expect that, while I may get fewer or less frequent commissions going forward, the small price increases will help compensate for those fewer orders, while also freeing up more time to devote to those commissions I do have, as well as ensuring I have plenty of time to do Patreon stuff.
