I'm constantly trying to coalesce drawing and rendering techniques on the realistic and more cartoony/stylistic ends of the spectrum. I'll see the works of some other artist, and get really excite and inspired to lean into something that's, say, really anime-looking, but then get pulled back in the direction of realism when I see another, equally-skilled artist. I end up holding onto techniques from both sides, resulting in my own style... But I'm always trying to improve, even if just on a technical level.
