WIP Update

I've been working on these since I posted the blueberry update. I had intended to post them one at a time but soon realized that I was making a bunch of extra work for myself later by cloning the same mesh over and over for the wall planters. I did some digging and found a way to combine a lot of the resources to keep it simpler and started putting everything together.

Adding custom meshes to the wall planter base opened a whole new set of problems from tuning inconsistencies to the random slot locations. It took a little bit of trial and error to figure out how everything was connected in an effort to get them to work properly in game. Yes, I could have just used the meshes they gave us, but what's the fun in that ;)

You can see in the image above I was able to create a mesh for the lettuce (leafy veg) and the carrots (root veg) for the vertical planter but in order for it to work properly I had to re-mesh the main plant as well. You will now get 2 heads of lettuce instead of 1. I also spaced them just far enough apart so that if you plant them next to each other it makes a neat little row :) I won't be able to do all the root veggies but I'll try to pick the ones that make sense to be in containers like carrots. Kale will have a wall planter version but the cabbage are too big for them and looked silly when I tried to convert them.

Once my custom harvestables are updated I'll be releasing them as a bulk download with all the updated tunings here on Patreon. After that I'm going to pivot to finishing a few of the new harvestables for the WIP Access tier - which includes most of the list I posted in June - then I'll move over to updating the Harvestable Overhaul. I realized while I was making these that if I created the packages and the tunings in a certain way I can also share them with the harvestables I've overhauled and give some of them their own wall planter versions as well!
