Added 2020-07-02 18:52:22 +0000 UTCHey All! I've been super busy at work lately but I'm still working on updating harvestables. I've decided since I'm going to make at least one fizz drink for most harvestables it was time to add and rework the buffs for them.
I created one master file that will contain all the buffs related to harvestables and harvestable recipes. That will be harvestable recipes, fizz drink recipes, and food recipes. You will have a higher chance of getting the buff depending on how powerful/concentrated the flavor is. For example, eating a lime has about a 60% chance of giving your sim an energy buff whereas drinking a fizzy drink will give about 80%. I don't like making these buffs happen 100% of the time because it can clutter your screen and honestly isn't very realistic. I may have adjust these percentages later.
This month is going to be dedicated to harvestables and fizzy recipes. I will have the lime harvestable updated and fizzy drink recipe available to WIP access by tomorrow for you to play around with. The only other objects I want to get done this month are the separated beds and converting some objects into craft sales tables. Next month I'd like to make a hydroponic planter system with some perks ;) to use in the old train-station community lot build I'm aiming to do.
As for this months lot I decided to do a residential build. This is going to go on the old quarry lot and I'm going to follow the basic structure of the house you see above. I really want it to feel like it's built into the rocks so I'm going to use those great marble wallpapers and some of the debug matching stones to build a natural looking pool. It's going to have an eco style to it and I'll definitely be adding more plants. As I put it together I'll figure out which way to go with the furniture style but I'm thinking it'll revolve around the objects from Eco Lifestyle that look like they're hand-crafted.
I'll be posting all the pre-releases and messaging all retired lot owners in the day or so.
