Supergirl (Sasha Calle, The Flash) -- 2/21/23 Exclusive
Added 2023-02-21 18:51:15 +0000 UTCSo I saw the new trailer for The Flash a few days ago, and I was struck by the next character I had to draw, in Sasha Calle's Supergirl. I know there are some fans out there who wish they had gone with a more classic look for the character, but being someone who never really grew up on DC comics, I don't have a preference, and find this version quite nice. I like how sleek the costume looks, as they carried over that streamlined aesthetic from Henry Cavill's Man of Steel costume design (RIP). Today, as I was putting the finishing touches on the background before posting this, I decided I'd go the extra mile and do a variant with the grubby hospital/lab gown.
Are you excited for The Flash movie? I am remaining hopeful for it, despite being burned by DC movies over the years.
