DISCUSSION - Magic System

- Is there an emotion that helps you skill up faster?
- Where can you see candles fitting into the magic skill?
This is part of a brainstorming thing I'm doing right now so please let me know your thoughts!

That sounds great! Let me look at this some more and see if I can do that. Of course, I'll have to wait to look at the code until Eco Lifestyle comes out so I can check out the candle code before I will know for sure :D

2020-05-13 13:48:28 +0000 UTCAs a witch, candles have EVERYTHING to do with spellcasting. But from a gameplay standpoint, I would liken it to more like the voodoo doll. You do something to the candle, like say a red candle which when lit would have a menu pop up that says "Cast love spell on..." and there's this menu of sims you know that you could cast a love spell on. Then they light the candle and maybe say some words over it and next thing you know, your romance meter is up several points with this person and they're asking you on a date. Or a green candle for money. Or a black candle for protection from ghosts breaking your stuff. IDK. This would be so much fun.

2020-05-07 17:03:14 +0000 UTCBeen awhile since I used a witch but I do not remember any emotion that helps you skill up faster but there are potions to help you on all sorts of things including making out all your needs in one shot. I believe there was some for skills too. I will have to take a look later today.
