Study session -- 10/18/22 Exclusive

With your mid-semester exams coming up, you and your friend have decided to take campus common hours to study. You grabbed your coffees from the cafe, laid out your materials, and are ready to hunker down until your next class. Unexpectedly, your friend pulls her ratty converse off and props her feet up on the table, absent-mindedly flexing her toes. You can't tell if the localized heat is from the coffee or her feet -- was it normal for her to not wear socks in hot weather?
You try to focus on reading through your meticulous lecture notes, but you find it harder and harder to focus as she alternates between spreading and scrunching her toes. She takes a few moments to glance at her phone, seemingly oblivious to her own publicly-bared soles.
