Quick Update

I planned on uploading some new stuff for Patrons and releasing some other stuff publicly this morning but the power went out on my block so all I have access to is my laptop for the next 3 hours. When the power comes back I'll upload Patron stuff because it's all on my desktop but I can get the public stuff released hopefully before my laptop dies.
If you're wondering where I've been the last couple of days I've been dealing with some real life stuff. I found out Friday before I left for camping that our house in Cali was going to be delayed, then found out Sunday it's possible it could take 6 months to be ready because PG&E completely neglected to put the gas line in for that section of the neighborhood.
My brother offered us a temporary place to live if I need it but his house is tiny and 6 months is not temporary so I had to spend the last few days trying to find a place for us to live until the house is ready. Unfortunately there are almost no apartments that will allow our dogs either because of weight limits or breed restrictions and no homes will rent to people for less than a year usually so we were kind of freaking out. After making lots of calls we were super fortunate to find 1 apartment available at the end of June that has no restrictions on dogs so I sent in all the paperwork yesterday and I'm sending the check this morning so fingers crossed it all works out!

Sounds like a major headache. I'm sorry you're having to go through all of that, it must have been a huge stress. I'm glad you were able to find a place, and hopefully everything goes smoothly for you. Breed & pet restrictions are so stringent, and yet after I move in there always seems to be a vast majority of other tenants with either more animals than allowed, or the very breeds we're not supposed to have.

2019-05-16 06:03:11 +0000 UTCThanks Tara! When I left the Bay Area 11 years ago I know there was a lot of talk about it but I don't think it was as widespread as it is out there now. I knew it was going to be hard to find a place that allowed dogs but I wasn't prepared for breed restrictions.

2019-05-16 06:03:02 +0000 UTCOoooff, I'm really glad you were able to find something. I'm in the Los Angeles area, I don't think I've seen an apartment with out restrictions in the last 15 years. I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything goes off without a hitch.

(And not all bad either) You've got a lot on your plate - you seem to be on top of it even with the anxiety it causes... so hang in there - you got this GOOD LUCK little lady ... not that you need it đ I don't mind (AT ALL) if you need a few days to release the new stuff ... YOU COME FIRST, in my honest opinion
