Important Personal Update

Today was a big day for me and my family. We finally announced our move and made it official with my husbands job and our friends here in Oklahoma. I eluded to the fact several months ago that there were some big life changes happening for me and this is definitely the biggest. For those who don't know, we made the decision to move back to California after my husband and I lost several members of our family over a 2 week period last year. We decided it was time to make it happen, however we could, so we could be closer to and spend time with the family we have left. 

For me, this move comes the new responsibility of a full-time job with a company versus being a contractor and working part-time. Luckily, the new job is pretty flexible and still gives me plenty of time to make stuff for the Sims. I had planned on making the transition to the new job at the end of June, but due to the rapid growth of the company they hired me on a few weeks ago and I've been working remotely since.

If you've noticed my WIP posts have been few and my download posts have been mostly limited to weekends. This is because I'm trying to manage making stuff for TS4, training and working a full-time job, and packing and prepping my house for renters. I had a well-thought out and scheduled plan that balanced my time better, but as usual life had very different plans for me lol.

This will probably the norm for the next couple of months, likely until I get settled sometime in July when things will get back to normal and I can post more updates and WIP's for you all. I'll still be creating, as you can see that hasn't stopped but it has gotten significantly harder to keep up with social media and update posts. Basically you'll see less of what's going on behind the scenes but I'll still keep rolling stuff out.

If I get to the point where I feel like I won't be able to get your stuff out in time I'll let you know but I really don't think that's going to be an issue, especially after next week. I should have all the painting done on the house by then which will free up A LOT of time. I'll tell you, I never knew how time consuming it was to paint and I want to say officially that I despise it and will never paint a house ever again. If only I could click a swatch and touch my walls with a magical paintbrush to paint them, my life would be SO much easier lol!
