Quarterly Mod - WIP Discussion
Added 2018-07-27 23:26:13 +0000 UTCThis probably shouldn't have taken as long as it did but I tried to keep up some notes while I was making this mod so when a patch breaks something it's much quicker to fix next time. There also seem to still be issues with importing meshes for some stuff and it kept screwing up my objects while I was working on this.
I have some touch up stuff to do on the tuning but the foundation for the remainder of the recipes is complete. Making candles will follow this same format using these beeswax bars as ingredients. They will be made only on the stove and will have a few more steps, aromatherapy candles having additional ingredients as well.
I made a bunch of custom recipe objects because everything else just looked kinda weird to me. I know you can't just take whole honeycomb and melt it into a bar of wax, but I think any more steps and it would have taken too long to craft the recipes and a whole lot more time irl to make anything more intricate.
I'm going to try to get the plain candles that require no skill to craft done by the first part of next week so Co-Creators can start playing around with them.
Only thing I'm still debating is whether or not I should change it from pouring onto the counter to having the Sim swipe it off the stove directly into their inventory (like the herbal potions from GP01).
