Need Object Effect Ideas! - Discussion
Added 2018-07-04 20:39:00 +0000 UTCI'm going to be making aromatherapy candles that produce certain effects when sims are near and/or smell them (haven't decided which yet lol). Anyway, I was hoping you would have some suggestions for what you'l like to see in your game. Here's a quick idea of what I was thinking:
- Energy Candle - Make Sim energized for a short time
- Romance Candle - Make Sim romantic as long as they're in vicinity
- Concentrate Candle - Make Sim focused for a short time
Even if you don't have a candle name, leave some ideas in the comments below and I'll see if I can incorporate them into some new candle scents!

2018-07-14 14:14:16 +0000 UTCMmm kay... so these are just a few thoughts, because puns make the world go 'round-- "Feel The Burn" or "Rise and Shine" (Energized), "Get Lit" (Playful or Dazed), "Lighten the Mood" or "Lighten Up" (Debuff Removal or Happy), "Make Me Melt" (Romantic/Flirty)... focused is a hard one to come up with a pun for, though.

2018-07-14 02:37:25 +0000 UTCA candle creating a sense of inspiration would be nice, for Sims to get a quick jolt (instead of having to shower) of it before cooking or painting. It might also be nice to have one that allows Sims become playful or giggly (giddy) without getting dangerously hysterical. Candles removing difficult emotion moodlets (which are hard to get rid of normally) might also be good. I am thinking of an anti-anxiety candle to get rid of the tense emotion, or relaxation or shamelessness in a candle to get rid of embarrassment or mortification.

If you know of an object that does something like this can you let me know? I can figure it out if I have something to pick apart :) I like the idea of Fresh Laundry, I already know exactly how to do that one!

I was just thinking how some candles I light help me get in the mood to write more - personal ones, but maybe an "Wisdom of Old Books" candle or something to boost writing speed? Or "Grandma's Kitchen" to boost cooking skill gain/inspire to make food? "Fresh Laundry" is a common scent I see - maybe to give the "clean laundry" boost without actual clean laundry? Or "Dark Secrets" to make a sim want to research vampires - or even kiss a vampire, if that is even possible to do? Ha I've too many ideas, but if there is a way to tie in skills/whims the possibilities are infinite!
