Season Colors

It took me all frickin day but I found out where the color overlays on the plants are coming from and how to change them. I still don't know where the instructions are or how and when they get applied, but it's a start! It sucks when you just get the hang of something and have to go back and relearn it :P

Honestly, it bugs me that the strawberry plants refuse to turn green until the day before spring is over. Also, I feel like if the plant is giving fruit there should be leaves on it and not just twigs lol.

The Voidcritter comics need to be remade. When I merged them the last time it somehow copied the tuning from one file to almost all the others and made them unusable and un-editable. I won't be merging files anymore, that's for sure. I'm going to save that project for mid-week though, I'm burnt out on books.

Just as I thought, the glass in the Greenhouse windows needs to be remapped. Break time and then I'm going to test and wrap up my table settings for Patron release. Fingers crossed there are no issues!

You know what I just realized? With all the eco-stuff they are doing in sims 4 - why did they not give us a compost bin? Seriously?? And I am not saying that because I am expecting anyone to make one, but I think they missed that opportunity to add gameplay. I loved raking leaves and composting newspapers in sims 2 to fertilize my plants. need. to. get. a. life. now.

Gardening is definitely a lot different in the game. Some plants are in season, but don't grow well in certain neighborhoods. I am starting my game in Summer next time, not spring. So far, I have played in four neighborhoods just moving my sims around - and I definitely need a gardening guide. Blargh. Good luck with your endeavors. I hope you are able to make it work, because your re-work really makes me happy about the gardening.
