Old Brindleton Barn - Lot Discussion
Added 2018-06-14 13:02:51 +0000 UTCIt's turning out well I think. The interior is not the same as the voting pic, there's just not enough stuff in game to fill out the lot so instead I went with a rustic farmhouse look. I'm also going to add a garden area as well as a small fire pit area.
Also, here's some of the stuff I want to make for this lot still; priority stuff is marked with an asterisk:
- Barn Doors - All wall heights*
- Screen Windows & Door*
- Short Brick Corner piece to match Peace's arch set*
- Wood support column & wall deco of same
- Recolor Coperrr stove hood
- 1/2 tile planter boxes + corner box*
- Rustic dining table from JA Hallway Table*
- Rustic coffee table from JA Hallway Table
- Nook bench for a reading nook
- Rustic Hallspace Desk
- Wooden Winsor chair to go with the loveseat*
- Walls that match Jungle Wood Floors (maybe)
- Separate/Expand on pbox's fringed rugs
I'm trying not to get too crazy with this lot because of Seasons coming out and I don't know what I'm going to need to fix/update.
Here's some more pics, tell me what you guys, does the interior look alright? Any neat add-ons you can think of that you'd like?

Possibly one of the most popular design trends from rustic barns to cross over into contemporary homes is the use of the sliding barn door.Designers are finding new uses for these gorgeous doors for a kitchen pantry, bathroom doors, or to separate large rooms in old barn house interiors. I hope Season or future packs have some more barn sliding door.

2018-06-14 17:37:15 +0000 UTCoh this is looking nice! I love the expansive windows make for gorgeous views. The beauty of old barns is there wide openings to the outdoors. Whether they were used to bring supplies through or to be able to let sunlight in to the livestock, rustic barns have the ability to set the scene for full panorama views. We don't know what will be inside Season build/buy mode but maybe -a sliding barn doors to define the spaces -soaring ceilings create voluminous space ?
