When politicians team up with oligarchs, you’re inevitably drawn into discussing politics. Take this administration, for example: when the Treasury Secretary meets with "investors" in the morning and the market surges by the afternoon, it certainly raises questions about political manipulation. As for tariffs, even the most strategic ones tend to yield minimal job growth at best. Between 2016 and 2020, tariffs on steel and aluminum increased employment by 1,000 foundry workers but likely cost 75,000 manufacturing jobs in industries reliant on steel or aluminum as production inputs. Imagine the consequences of imposing a national tariff on all goods
