Trump thinks his economic "plan" will work better than free market/laissez-faire economics, it won't. Capital(ist) acts in the public interest if acting in his private interest is profitable and happens to provide a public benefit. He does not act in the public interest if acting in his own interest would prove to be unprofitable. Trump would do better to free up scarce resources and let the free market figure out how to combine land, labor, and capital to create value/goods and services. Right, now the private sector is competing with the FED's money printer. The gov't is still sucking up resources and driving up costs. Trump's "plan" is a fucking joke, just like Nixon's, Ford's, Carter's, Reagan's, etc. Just like Obama, Trump (STILL) thinks the state is better at allocating resources/capital than the free market..... IT'S NOT! The research on "Biden's" 4 years of clusterfuck/crony/socialist economy is still being written. Oil prices will surge to $180 by 2028. 2028 is when WWIII kicks off in earnest.
