2024-11-04 13:24:47 +0000 UTCMy honest opinions, fwiw: 1. The DXY will have some measure of support because of the weakness of German & other EU nations’ bonds. And I totally agree Britain is in the absolute worst shape, and likely to get fully sucked into the EU again. But at the price of the sacrifice of BOE sovereignty. (The EU Central bank wants to eventually, maybe soon, re-invent itself so it can print money the way individual nations do.) All of that will provide some measure of DXY support. 2. America will be doing well if we can actually inaugurate a President by January 20. A group of Titans are fighting an existential battle — and to a degree perhaps never seen since the ancient Pharaoh’s Egypt sustained 10 plagues and the drowning of their chariots, this time the battle includes the “old money” colonialist Pharaohs who thought they were going to inherit the whole world literally right now during the 2020’s, because they think they are gods and they have planned it that way (and pretty much told us straight out that we had no choice) for a long, long time. So just like in the movies when those titans start fighting over territory, a lot of “collateral” damage to infrastructure and other carnage happens — and of course the “commoners” in many locations bear most of the cost of the wars. I’m highly optimistic of the outcome overall, but expect a giant crescendo of earth-shaking events between now and at least Spring/Summer summer 2025, before we can breathe easy and expect sanity to increase instead of diminishing as it has steadily done for X number of years. (Pick your number of years: 4? 8? 9? 16? 24? I think I might say 60, going back to the assassination of JFK when a group of CIA thugs began one of three assassinations that sent a strong message to American leaders that if they get a tap on the shoulder with a warning to back off, they only had one choice if they wanted to stay alive...
