2024-11-02 21:49:21 +0000 UTCOk...so, I didn't button down all the hatches...and I see weaknesses in my trade management flow...I tried some "cute" stuff...now thinking to group my portfolio into buckets of % , DXY, etc buckets...I felt like I needed to be an octopus over the past couple of weeks...I could benefit from some trade management strategies...do you set auto alerts for earnings? How do you have your screens set up? What is your routine? 2024-11-02 14:05:15 +0000 UTCA Norwegian State Pension Fund sold out of Palantir yesterday, "because it supports the Israeli military agains the Palestinians". ESG will play a role in that decision, but they oh so coincidentally decided to do that right at the top of the market.

2024-11-01 16:44:43 +0000 UTCReplacement or fear? I suspect both, in that order. TLT and ZROZ look to be bottoming, so I think one replacement will be sovereign bonds. If I recall my market history correctly, melt ups followed by crashes happen after phases when bonds go up on increasing volume and the S&P goes up on decreasing volume… but still go up together. I also think that an oil shock needs to happen before a true crash, so energy could also be a replacement play. Fear comes next. I hope fear comes soon, but my fear is that it won’t.

LOL It was "snowing" yesterday aka freezing rain, so I put out extra bird feed. I have a pair of cardinals and red-billed woodpeckers....and those noisy bluejays as my "regulars." Cardinals will always be my favorite customers.
