The Glass-Steagall era formally ended in 1999 when the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) repealed the Glass-Steagall Act's restrictions on affiliations between commercial and investment banks. Less than a decade after GLBA, the United States suffered its worst financial crisis since the Great Depression....thanks for the comment...

If the government claims bankruptcy during a depression, would the FDIC still cover your bank’s account up to $250,000?

If you in the market to get rich, you'll probably end up broke. If you in the market just to subsidizing you income, you might just end up rich.

Paish, Maverick, Grantham, Bonner. Hmmm, what do they have in common? Oh, let me count the ways! Fantastic video!

Dodd-Frank is weak tea. Glass-Steegal did a better job, which is why so many members of Congress wanted to repeal it ( at the orders from their campaign donors). Citizens United guarantees more crashes and corruption. The "Invisible Hand" of the market at work, to the ruin of all.

Great update and historical perspective Mav. In afterhours chat last night, @Team Margin Call - Cyrus shared an interesting Fib channel of the SPX. It really gives our present situation a whole new view. Wondering your thoughts on using Fib channels like that on various time frames?
