2024-09-04 10:25:51 +0000 UTCGreat outro....as my cat was passing...cancer...from years of trash food...I digress...she could not stand to hear me scrolling social media on my cell phone...she got up and moved to another room...making me aware of how toxic it is...I have the sounds of nature all around me...polluting that beauty with technology....I discovered that I had difficulty sitting under the moon and stars like I once did with her...I am disgusted in my changes...addicted to a damn battery charged device. I'm rethinking life a litte...I did not invest in that AI/porn building industry with all its cagey characters...and quite frankly, find the stock market a wasteland of old and parasitic corporations...begging for corporate welfare while the average joe and julliette try to find housing. I used to provide affordable housing...now a thing of the past.

2024-09-04 09:51:20 +0000 UTCThanks to your advice...I was not caught off guard yesterday....my portfolio was popping like popcorn over the past weeks...so it felt like "something" was coming...so I took profits on quite a few positions then bought a put for a pullback and sold a put to get back into the position...so watching the crash and watching a few positions unhedged and dropping and popping....I am not the best portfolio manager..but I kept more profits this time...thank you Mav! .. I'm buckled up....and thank you...for telling us "what to do"...it also helps me to hear what amount you are holding in cash....it lets me know how close you may be anticipating the rotation to the trash to reinvest. ps...I did hedge the defensives...now ITM on covered calls...what a mess I have but at least I am still in the position...and who knows what may work out....
