Why would Crowdstrike be liable? That seems absurd. Its like sueing microsoft for a failed update or a virus. Unless their signed contract includes liability for damages, this would set an interesting precedent. I am all for it. Because holding software companies liable for damages is the only way to stop this “profits are all that matters” madness. And get them to actually build products that work.
