The jist of his message is a "replacement of something with nothing"...like replacing real money...real value...with nothing....NVDA for example maybeeeee...perhaps it is worth what it is worth...perhaps it is not and if it is...who is buying it NVDA...the taxpayer? He also speaks of "dematerialization"....lord knows brick and mortar businesses are now replaced by mail order....and I fear the day I wake up like I saw on Star Wars...powdered foods of unknown origins is the future....i digress.....and The Great Taking author discusses the risks in the derivative market (let's talk about who is in charge of regulatory oversight of derivatives...i bet the fed put their best people on it after the 2008 crash...)...and I also wonder...with all this talk of INNOVATION...I wonder what the "stock market" may present to us as "valuable" when in fact it has no value at all...it looks like unless a corporation is getting a government check...their stock prices flounder...even with food...the corporations that peddle TRASH for our government via SNAP benefit are holding value...REAL FOOD...healthy food peddlers are selling out.
