So I guess he's gambling on the "whip of the reaction" effect that is going to create a huge voter turnout in the national elections, with all those who abstained today will be voting Macron tomorrow (to at least not RN).

They signed the agreement with Elon when the stock was worth around 60 bil and if he made the company worth 10 times that in 10 years he would get his bonus. Theya greed and signed. He did that and more as it's worth now 650 bil at this price, let alone what he got it too. Part of that agreement signed was that he got 37000 a year until he did that. Of course he is worth a lot more as he owned a big % of the shares. So I'm not sure if that is all correct but if they signed it and knew about it when buying shares then regardless of where it's been fulfilled his agreement and should be paid. So we are hating on him because he is worth billions and made the company huge so Fuck him he deserves nothing. Bad move. He could dump his shares and drop it in their stupid laps. What's Tesla without him.

2024-06-11 07:28:21 +0000 UTCMy prediction is we get a cooler cpi, there’s excitement and euphoria for a short time and then energy and commodities will shoot up on yet another Powell dovefest as people get excited about rate cuts. This will make inflation readings go back up and the market will pull back when they see that, bonds and the dollar will go higher. Then inflation will go back down and we’ll rinse and repeat. We’ll keep doing this until something breaks. But we’re not getting out of this cycle without a recession. I’m keeping dry powder for the autumn when the volatility really kicks in.

2024-06-11 06:15:08 +0000 UTCYo-yo market - except PDD, I lost confidence in the US market. Too much froth, end of the cycle. After 3 years, moved half my holding to Hong Kong stocks. Beaten and brushed, seeing the light at end of tunnel. I will enter chinese EVs & commodities, those are only ones doing well here. US market is behaving exactly like Chinese market during 2015-2016, probably stagflation will keep this chopping trades, but it will prolong the pain for years to come. For sure we need FDR like revival to the national building, after the next crash. Such an important country, shame politicians and oligarchy ruined the future of younger ones. God bless, everyone !
