2024-04-18 10:14:08 +0000 UTCThink it was important to note that 2 earnings reports in 2 ultra hot sectors of the market drove both of those sectors down: trucking $JBHT and chippys $ASML. OK, now I gotta question. Why when VIX is at 19 the market is very calm cool and collected at the open, tends to stick to unchanged and vwap, and when VIX is 12-13 there is a kneejerk reaction up or down 0.5% in the SPY or QQQ right at the open.
