WHAT ARE THEY HIDING?

Maverick my first thought is heart attack or stroke because it happened in the shower...twice. My second thought is it's that ozempic you're taking. It seems everytime america comes up with a miracle weightloss pill it kills people.

Im thinking hypoglycemic conditions too. Mav aren't you a big greek guy?

Stephen Figura

Mav, please test your blood glucose levels asap. Can turn life threatening quickly. I believe it is: Hypoglycemia. (Both my mom and brother have hypoglycemia) Ozempic, known generically as semaglutide, was approved in 2017 by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in adults with type 2 diabetes. Ozempic is a weekly injection that helps lower blood sugar by helping the pancreas make more insulin Ozempic may cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). This side effect is more common if you use Ozempic along with insulin or other diabetes drugs. If your blood sugar gets too low, it can cause symptoms or serious health problems. Examples of these problems include dizziness, blurred vision, or seizures. Most people will have some warning that their blood glucose levels are too low, which gives them time to correct them. Typical early warning signs are feeling hungry, trembling or shakiness, and sweating. A low blood glucose level triggers the release of epinephrine (adrenaline), the “fight-or-flight” hormone which results in the narrowing of blood vessels and the activation of sweat glands. Epinephrine is what can cause the symptoms of hypoglycemia such as thumping heart, sweating, tingling, and anxiety. If the blood sugar glucose continues to drop, the brain does not get enough glucose and stops functioning as it should. This can lead to blurred vision, difficulty concentrating, confused thinking, slurred speech, numbness, and drowsiness. If blood glucose stays low for too long, starving the brain of glucose, it may lead to seizures, coma, and very rarely death. People may experience: Whole body: excess sweating, excessive hunger, fainting, fatigue, lightheadedness, or shakiness Gastrointestinal: nausea or vomiting Cognitive: problems concentrating, mental confusion or unresponsiveness, dizziness Mouth: dryness, numbness or tingling of lips, tongue or cheek. Also common: anxiety, blurred vision, headache, irritability, pallor (Color draining from the skin), heart palpitations, fast heartbeat, sensation of pins and needles, sleepiness, slurred speech, tremor, or unsteadiness/ loss of coordination. Severe cases may trigger a loss of consciousness or seizures.
