New Beta Coming Soon & Patch List


It's been a while! I'm back with a new update. Sorry for being late. Due to various circumstances, it will be difficult to communicate smoothly for the time being. However, development is progressing step by step, and I'm happy that the main framework has been completed. Since the code structure is flexible, it is easy to modify or add functions.


It took too much time to complete the main functions. There are still many bugs, and I decided to release the beta because it seems too late. It hasn't gone well so far, but I will try to come back often in the future, even if it's a small patch. I expect that I will inevitably have to repeat several patches soon because of the bugs.


To briefly explain the development direction, first, if all the main functions as a sandbox game are completed, I will release the game on Steam as soon as possible in Early Access. After that, if the bug patches and character story content are completed, it will be the official release. There are many developments and ideas that were discarded regarding the character story, but after going through that process, the story concept has been completed. Please don't worry too much because development will not stop unless I suddenly die!


Character

- Improved character animation and physics

- Added customization for character collision size

- Added controls for character strength and time scale

- Enhanced character health parameters

- Added ability to save character values and collision size

- Deleting a character or device no longer deletes linked objects

- Added character simulation states (strangulation, drowning, blunt trauma, external trauma, cardiac arrest, coma, etc.)

- Added collider for finger

- Added pain-specific animations by body part

- Added walking animation preset selection

- Added reset function to restore character health state

- Characters with shoulder bones now apply shoulder angle correction for more natural arm movement

- Added new characters: Fubuki, Secretary, Manami, Azusa


BlendShapes

- neutral BlendShape is now always active in all situations

- Added faceBlue BlendShape for skin discoloration during drowning

- Added neckCompression BlendShape to represent neck constriction during strangulation

- Added diaphragmaticSpasm BlendShape to depict abdominal contraction during asphyxia

- Added tongue BlendShape to show tongue protrusion


Import Functionality

- Relaxed character creation requirements (support for some models without shoulder bones, or with fewer finger joints)

- Fixed misaligned fingers in imported characters

- Characters now spawn at the cursor's initial position with a preview indicator


Devices

- Added 2 new strangulation devices (lifted posture, lying posture)

- Added Ziptie device

- Added 2 exclusive restraint devices for the Pool map

- Added a new type of rope for hanging devices (soft rope)

- Unassign characters or devices without deleting them


Restraints

- Added blindfold and cloth gag

- More options for resizing and repositioning restraints


Tools

- Formerly known as “modes”, these are now referred to as “tools”

- Added Focus Tool to fix the camera on a character and toggle between first- and third-person views

- Added Weapon Tool for equipping various weapons (currently only 1 melee weapon available)

- Added settings window for tool options

- Added options to adjust force and hide rope in the Drag Tool


Maps

- Added Pool map specialized for underwater simulation

- Some devices are restricted to specific maps


Graphics

- Shader adjustments and improvements

お久しぶりです!今回は新しいアップデートを持って帰ってきました。遅れてしまって申し訳ありません。いろいろな事情により、しばらくの間はスムーズなやり取りが難しいかもしれません。ただし、開発は一歩一歩進んでおり、メインのフレームワークが完成したことを嬉しく思っています。コード構造が柔軟なので、機能の追加や修正も簡単に行えます。


メイン機能を完成させるのに時間がかかりすぎてしまいました。まだ多くのバグが残っており、公開が遅れすぎたと感じたため、ベータ版としてリリースすることに決めました。これまでうまくいかなかったことも多いですが、今後は小さなパッチでも頻繁に戻ってこれるように頑張ります。バグの影響で、しばらくは何度かパッチを繰り返すことになると思います。


開発方針を簡単に説明すると、

まず、サンドボックスゲームとしての主要機能がすべて完成したら、できるだけ早くSteamでアーリーアクセスとしてリリースします。その後、バグ修正やキャラクターのストーリーコンテンツが仕上がれば、正式リリースとなります。

キャラクターのストーリーに関しては、いくつかの案を捨てることになりましたが、その過程を経て、最終的なコンセプトが完成しました。

突然死でもしない限り、開発は止まりませんのでご安心ください!


キャラクター

- キャラクターアニメーションと物理演算を改良

- キャラクターの衝突判定サイズのカスタマイズを追加

- キャラクターの強さと時間スケールのコントロールを追加

- キャラクターの体力パラメータを強化

- キャラクターの値と衝突判定サイズを保存できるようにしました

- キャラクターまたはデバイスを削除しても、リンクされたオブジェクトは削除されなくなりました

- キャラクターシミュレーション状態(絞殺、溺死、鈍的外傷、心停止、昏睡など)を追加しました

- 指のコライダーを追加しました

- 体の部位ごとに痛みを表すアニメーションを追加しました

- 歩行アニメーションのプリセット選択機能を追加しました

- キャラクターの体力状態を復元するリセット機能を追加しました

- 肩のボーンを持つキャラクターは、より自然な腕の動きを実現するために肩の角度補正を適用します

- 新キャラクターを追加しました:Fubuki、Secretary、Manami、Azusa


ブレンドシェイプ

- 「netural」ブレンドシェイプが、あらゆる状況で常に有効になりました

- 溺死時の肌の変色を表現する「faceBlue」ブレンドシェイプを追加しました

- 首の締め付けを表現する「neckCompression」ブレンドシェイプを追加しました絞殺

- 窒息時の腹部収縮を表現する「diaphragmaticSpasm」ブレンドシェイプを追加

- 舌の突出を表現する「tongue」ブレンドシェイプを追加


インポート機能

- キャラクター作成要件の緩和(肩のボーンがない、または指の関節が少ない一部のモデルをサポート)

- インポートされたキャラクターの指の位置ずれを修正

- キャラクターがカーソルの初期位置に生成され、プレビューインジケーターが表示されるようになりました


デバイス

- 2種類の新しい絞殺デバイスを追加

- ジップタイデバイスを追加

- プールマップ専用の拘束デバイスを2種類追加

- 絞首刑デバイス用の新しいロープ(ソフトロープ)を追加

- キャラクターまたはデバイスを削除せずに割り当て解除


拘束具

- 目隠しと布製ギャグを追加

- 拘束具のサイズ変更と位置変更のオプションを追加


ツール

- 以前は「モード」と呼ばれていたものを「ツール」に変更

- キャラクターにカメラを固定し、フォーカスを切り替えるフォーカスツールを追加一人称視点と三人称視点

- 様々な武器を装備できる武器ツールを追加(現在、近接武器は1種類のみ使用可能)

- ツールオプションの設定ウィンドウを追加

- ドラッグツールに、フォース調整とロープ非表示のオプションを追加


マップ

- 水中シミュレーションに特化したプールマップを追加

- 一部のデバイスは特定のマップでのみ使用可能


グラフィック

- シェーダーの調整と改善

好久不见!这次我带来了新的更新。抱歉更新来得有些晚。由于各种原因,近期的沟通可能会不太顺畅。不过开发仍在一步一步推进,我很高兴核心框架已经完成。代码结构非常灵活,今后的功能修改和扩展也会变得更容易。


完成主要功能花费了太多时间。目前仍存在许多Bug,本来就已经晚了,所以我决定先发布测试版。虽然进展不太顺利,但未来我会尽量经常发布更新,即使只是一些小补丁。我也预料到接下来可能会因为Bug而反复更新几次。


关于开发方向,简单说明如下:

首先,一旦沙盒游戏的主要功能全部完成,我会尽快以“抢先体验(Early Access)”的形式在Steam上发布。之后如果补丁修复和角色剧情内容也完成了,就会正式发行。

关于角色剧情,我也曾放弃过很多设想与内容,但在这个过程中,最终的故事概念已经确立。

请不要太担心,除非我突然死掉,否则开发不会停止!


角色

- 改进了角色动画和物理效果

- 添加了角色碰撞体积的自定义功能

- 增加了角色力量和时间倍率的调整选项

- 优化了角色的健康参数

- 添加了保存角色属性值和碰撞体积的功能

- 删除角色或设备时,已连接的对象将不再一并删除

- 新增角色模拟状态(窒息、溺水、钝器伤、外伤、心脏骤停、昏迷等)

- 添加了手指碰撞体

- 添加了按身体部位划分的疼痛动画

- 添加了行走动画预设选择功能

- 添加了重置角色健康状态的功能

- 有肩膀骨骼的角色将自动进行肩膀角度校正,使手臂动作更自然

- 新增角色:吹雪、秘书、真奈美、梓纱


BlendShapes

- neutral BlendShape在所有情况下始终启用

- 添加了faceBlue BlendShape,用于表现溺水时皮肤变色

- 添加了neckCompression BlendShape,用于表现勒颈时脖子收缩

- 添加了diaphragmaticSpasm BlendShape,用于表现窒息时腹部收缩

- 添加了tongue BlendShape,用于表现舌头伸出


导入功能

- 放宽了角色生成条件(支持部分没有肩膀骨骼或手指关节较少的模型)

- 修复了导入角色时手指错位的问题

- 导入角色时将生成在鼠标位置,并显示生成预览


设备

- 新增两种勒颈装置(站立姿势、躺卧姿势)

- 新增束带(Ziptie)装置

- 为泳池地图新增两种专属拘束装置

- 为绞刑装置新增一种绳索类型(软绳)

- 支持取消角色或设备的绑定而无需删除


拘束道具

- 新增眼罩与布制口塞

- 提供更多拘束道具的大小与位置选项


工具

- 原称“模式(Mode)”的功能现统一称为“工具(Tool)”

- 新增“聚焦工具”,可将摄像机固定在角色身上,切换第一人称和第三人称视角

- 新增“武器工具”,可装备多种武器(目前仅支持一种近战武器)

- 新增工具设置窗口,可调节各类选项

- 拖拽工具新增调整力度与隐藏绳索的选项


地图

- 新增泳池地图,专为水下模拟设计

- 某些地图中部分设备使用将受到限制


图形

- 调整与优化了着色器(Shader)表现

around 80% of Chinese pc gamers use the international version of steam and not Steam China, censoring the game would hurt more than it would help. Most steam users use steam because of it's ease of use. Adding a seperate layer of you having to go to the fanbox of the game and download a patch to restore the game to full functionality is not a good idea. First impressions matter for small indie games and this would drive a lot of people away.

hope new update come soon,regarding my previous suggestion to enhance the ragdoll physics simulation for VRM models, particularly concerning the increased urine incontinence effect, I hope you can give it serious consideration. Additionally, launching on Steam in China might face certain censorship issues. I suggest making some compromising changes to the in-game content for the Steam version and providing a patch via Fanbox to bypass the censorship.

Do keep in mind that 80% of chinese steam users use the global version and not the chinese one. (I was surprised when I looked this up) Another interesting bit of data is that around 50% of steams global regions users as of february 2025 are also apparently chinese. So i wouldn't worry too much about it.

Very, very cool. Personally, I don't mind waiting longer for updates. To me, it doesn't matter as much that you are "late" or whatever. What matters most is communication, because those that care about your game will definitely wait no matter what as long as we know why we are waiting.

That sounds amazing, and what I am about to say is not something to push you in any kind of way, I am just wondering: because I am still a bit confused.. "There are still many bugs, and I decided to release the beta because it seems too late", so you have released the new beta 0.8.3 yet? (Because there is no 0.8.3 Link yet to be found). Or will it drop in the future? Mostly wondering because you wrote down all the new Improvements.
