A month has passed since the Zerg took the former North Korean Capital as their 'Enclave' on Earth, an Enclave that they have begun rebuilding to suit their purposes. The Zerg did not care if the whole world watched as buildings were torn down or engulfed in strange, fleshy-like structures. The Zerg's ship lay above the city in perpetual orbit, seemingly unaffected by gravity.
The Zerg were tireless in their efforts, with tens of thousands of Drones working every hour of every day, showing Humanity just how much more efficient the Zerg were in comparison, as they accomplished tasks in the span of hours that took Humans months of hard labor, but what caught the attention of many nations, were the strange metallic and keratin-like materials the Zerg used as support or framework for many of their new creations and 'spires.'
Strangely, the Zerg built these structures to be as human-friendly as possible, with tall corridors a human could walk through, stairs, ramps, ladders, and even strange fleshy elevators.
The few humans who decided to remain after the Zerg conquered North Korea found themselves under the care of the Zerg, with plentiful food, water, and even healthcare that, while strange and discomforting, was far superior to anything Humanity had at that time.
One of the no less than a dozen humans was found to have a terminal form of brain cancer, but a single injection from one of the Zerg Queens resulted in this cancer slowly dissolving away till it ceased to exist entirely hours later.
Any problem the dozen humans under the Zerg’s care had, the Zerg took care of, resulting in an entirely new structure being built in the Zerg Enclave, a Housing Center. The Humans were given their own homes, any furniture they could want, showers, and even a promise of future electronic devices to be provided when the Zerg figured it all out or made a pact with Humanity.
Something else nations across the globe noticed was the increasingly vibrant plant life that grew around the Enclave, with towering trees, vibrant green grass, fields of flowers, and even a noticeable increase in the population of the local Fauna, which the Zerg let be, seemingly unbothered by the wild animals that began inching closer and closer to their Enclave.
By the end of the month, true Enclave neared completion, and the Zerg invited any Ambassadors or Diplomats to visit and speak with the Zerg in the newly constructed ‘Spire of Knowledge’, which the Zerg built to facilitate communications, data exchange, and co-learning opportunities.

[Mexico’s fourth Diplomat, Silvana Seceda]
The improvised airfield, constructed of a smooth metallic material, a mile outside the Enclave, was a buzz of activity as plane after plane landed, dropping off Diplomats and Ambassadors from around the Globe. The Zerg even offered transportation for the Nations that could not afford or use the resources to fly to the Enclave, and a few countries took that offer, having been the first to arrive on what looked like miniature versions of the Zerg’s mothership.
The runway was flanked by beautiful and vibrant forests with strange keratin and metal fencing keeping the flora from spilling out and onto the runway. Even then, more Zerg bioforms seemed to patrol the fencing.
Silvana watched it all with intense curiosity, as the other three in her group looked around warily at the Zerg and nearly a hundred different people around them.
Silvana and her three coworkers were here for one thing: they were to gather as much information as possible and send it back to Mexico, whether this involved more details on the Zerg and their supposed purpose, as well as their ‘War in Heaven,’ or details on the Zerg itself and its hierarchy.
Silvana was more curious about what the Zerg had seen, as she looked up at the cloudy sky and beyond, wondering how far the Zerg had explored the galaxy.
The Zerg gathered them all on repurposed vehicles, the Zerg…acquired as spoils of war from the North Korean army, to transport all of the Diplomats to the Enclave.
Silvana will admit that the Zerg bioforms, called ‘Zerglings,’ looked absolutely adorable as they climbed into the driver's seats of the trucks and began to bend in a very ridiculous posture to drive. However, a few of the people around her seemed to pale even more at the sight.
As they drove closer and closer, Silvana watched with awe and interest as the towering spires made of gleaming metal and flesh appeared past the thick wooded forest they moved through, and the Zerg Mother ship floating above the Zerg’s Enclave.
…
When they entered the Zerg Enclave and disembarked from the trucks, they were met with one of the ‘Brood Mothers’ who led them deeper into the enclave and to one of the outer spires, which the Brood Mother called the ‘Housing Spire.’
Wishing before the greeting, the Brood Mother let out a chittering and clicking sound before speaking in English and French, “Greetings, Ambassadors of Humanity, we are gladdened to hear so many wish to establish a rapport with the Zerg and learn what we have to offer. We regret to inform many of you that we do not tolerate the use of spyware or other similar devices that your leaders may wish to use to breach the security of the Zerg. We have already removed such technology from the premises, but have left the other technology and your communicators with your belongings, which have been delivered to your rooms,” The Zerg Brood Mother stated before looking at several of the Diplomats in the room before gesturing to the floating drone by its side.
“We will be hosting a…class in the Spire of Knowledge, and you are all invited to attend if you so wish. If you do decide to attend the lesson tonight, merely inform one of the Drones or patrolling Zerglings, and you will be collected before the class starts. Any questions before you settle in and get some rest?” The Brood Mother asked, sounding somewhat curious.
Silvana was the first to raise her hand, getting the Queen’s attention.
“Yes?” It asked, looking at Silvana.
“Is there anything that lies above a Brood Mother in the Zerg hierarchy? And where does the Zerg Diplomat lie in that?” Silvana asked without hesitation in English, getting many stares and glares from the crowd around her.
The Brood Mother hummed, tapping its clawed fingers in contemplation before it answered her question, “There lies only one above a Zerg Brood Mother in the Zerg hierarchy and Command Structure.” The Brood Mother began to speak before gesturing to the whole crowd.
“As many of you are aware, the Zerg are an Individualistic Hive Mind with a higher intellect, swaying and controlling all Zerg. We call this intellect our Queen. It is her will that inhabits the Envoy; that shell was specifically designed to facilitate communication between our Queen and non-Zerg species,” the Brood Mother tried to explain. However, it still struggled with the nuances of primitive speech.
“Can you tell us more about your Queen?” Silvana asked curiously.
“While we are reluctant to share information about our Queen to entities that are not of the Zerg, our Queen has given us permission to speak,” the Brood Mother explained before finally speaking further about the Zerg Queen.
“Our Queen is a part of every single Zerg; if she willed, she could speak through any one of us or guide our bodies to fulfill her purpose. She is our guiding voice and the guiding will of all Zerg. Her strength is our strength,” the Brood Mother explained before someone else, other than Silvana, finally spoke, “Is she here now? Listening or guiding your mind?”
“Part of her vast mind is with me now, but most of her mind is focused on other things and important objectives across Zerg Space,” The Brood Mother answered before going silent and tilting its head.
“In fact, my Queen wishes to speak with you all.” When the Brood Mother finished that last word, her entire posture stiffened before a strange purple energy flooded her body, making her eyes seem to blaze with purple energy as the energy also began to coat her body.
“Greetings, Humans. I am the Queen of the Zerg. I’m afraid I cannot stay for long; much work needs to be done to prepare the Zerg and the Galaxy for the War in Heaven, and until Humanity makes its decision to join or hide, I must focus on my task. I will say this, regardless of Humanity's decision, I will ensure to the best of my and the Zerg Swarm’s abilities that Humanity survives this cycle,” The Queen spoke, its gaze sweeping the room and filling it with a pressure so great that many felt that they would collapse under the Queen’s attention.
Slowly, the purple energy dissipated from the Brood Mother’s body before disappearing entirely, leaving the Brood Mother calmly clicking her clawed fingers together.
“It’s a great honor to speak with the Queen,” the Brood Mother spoke before gesturing to the rooms around them, “Get some rest, we will start the class in approximately four hours from now at sundown.”
And during all of that, Silvia couldn’t help but wonder what that strange tingling she felt beneath her skin was after that show of power.
