As the trio grinded away in their fortified base, it didn't take long to find out what the 'storm' of this round would be. Slowly, but surely, the cave systems of Aberation were collapsing. Even now, they could hear the distant thudding of passageways and open spaces collapsing into rubble. Already three days had passed, and by then, the trio had noticed other bases cropping up around the expansive cavern, along with countless skirmishes from various groups and even a few attacks on their little fortress.
The three were now equipped with decent flak armor, metal tools, and weapons designed for each. Coulson carried an assault rifle slung over his back and a pistol strapped to his hip; Romanov carried a Longneck Rifle and a simple revolver, while Clint carried a crossbow and a makeshift compound bow.
They had bunkered down while occasionally taking a pot shot at any of their neighbors who had the bright idea to peak their heads out from behind their stone walls, and while the small team didn't have that many kills, Romanov was having a field day with her Longneck Rifle and the height advantage her chosen spot gave her. She could easily see most of the cavern interior from her vantage point and had kept an eye on their neighbors for the past couple of days while Coulson tinkered away, making more gear, while Clint focused on training the Dinos they got their hands on.
As it was the final round, everyone was far more cautious than the previous rounds, not to mention more skilled than before, as many studied and practiced between rounds, formulating strategies and having debates as to what to do to make it to the end of the round and become the victor. Many had taken Crazy Steve's approach and decided to play aggressively, defensively, or use crazy strategies that no one expected.
For example, one group performed aggressive aerial maneuvers to fly across the caverns using makeshift wing suits, grappling hooks, and climbing picks. The group flew directly into a target base and launched a surprise attack. Combine that with shoulder mounts such as Microraptors, Dimorphodons, or even Pegomastaxes for their sticky fingers.
With the combination of the shoulder mounts they could throw at an enemy and the firearms they had on hand, they could clear out a base quickly, and this one group had already killed multiple teams, amassing a rather substantial amount of loot, putting the group ahead of most of the other participants.
While they did that, the players who decided to risk rushing to get a Rock Drake egg were still struggling to get any. For one, the first player that tried and successfully managed to grab an egg was swarmed by more than a dozen mature Rock Drakes, who struck the man at once, leaping from the floors, ceilings, and from the sky, their chameleon-like abilities making them extraordinarily hard to see unless they are actively moving.
After all, the man didn't even see the Rock Drake curled against the wall directly next to where he grappled down from, and that was what made the Rock Drakes such formidable creatures. Their invisibility, combined with their ability to remain perfectly still, made them the perfect ambush predators, ones that could wait for extreme periods of time for prey to stumble upon them. The man was lucky that, as this was the nesting grounds of the Rock Drakes, most would be resting, breeding, or taking care of their young.
The other three players intending to grab a Rock Drake egg took a more careful approach. Crazy Steve chose to try to catch the egg using a crossbow with a net attachment. The only problem with that plan was that the eggs were heavy, so that attempt failed, but he made it out alive.
Another tried to use a Pegomastix and throw it into a nest before pulling up with a rope. The Pego was instantly eaten upon landing next to the egg, and the man was pulled down after the Rock Drake ate the Pego, killing the man not long after due to the swarm of Rock Drakes that lunged after him.
That left only Crazy Steve and the other player remaining, trying to grab a Rock Drake Egg. The two kept trying to grab Rock Drake Eggs, and the outer edge of the Abberation continued to collapse, so they ran short on time and fell massively behind the other players as they did not focus on building and arming up.
By the fourth day, Crazy Steve had gotten lucky and managed to grab an egg while the other player still struggled.

Meanwhile, the Villainious duo from Gothem continued to follow the same strategies they used before, taming as many dinosaurs as possible and hunting down as many players as possible. The duo combined their strengths and covered their weaknesses, and with their vast experiences in Gotham, the two made quite the formidable team, not to mention the addition of the three dozen dinosaurs under their command, along with the terrifying Basilisk.
It had taken them many hours to tame one, even after multiple failures, but they did. Managing to tame a high-level albino male Basilisk that proved to be quite the hunter, its sense of smell allowing it to hunt down fleeing players and track them quickly with no problem. Even now, the duo were chasing after a fleeing Player atop a relatively fast Raveger, but unlike the Ravager, the Bassalisk had far more stamina, allowing it to eventually catch up and swallow the two whole, ending yet another player's life.

With the third round becoming increasingly more dangerous, it was unclear who would win. Would it be Crazy Steve who had gotten his hands on a Rock Drake Egg? The Villonous Duo who had a Basilisk and an army of dinos? Would it be Tyke and his group of Guildmates? Or maybe it would be one of the lesser-known players who had made it this far through sheer luck alone?
Regardless of who would win, the spectators analyzed every angle and every player remaining, making bets on who they thought would win.
Fury, who was watching all of this, was watching with increasingly growing concern. This would not be an easy win for his Agents, but they needed to win. Otherwise, some random citizen would be granted tremendous power, power that could shift the scale of everything, not that the Cafe hadn't already, as Fury eyed some of the random customers lurking in the crowds, in the corners, and in shadows, watching, waiting.

It's been a while since I touched Cafe, and I forgot how hard it is to write for me. I had to spend a few hours thinking of how I wanted this to go before I just said 'Fuck it' and went with the flow, even then I was constantly hitting writer's blocks :p
I already decided who will win this tournament, but do let me know who you all think might win!

anyone that can give fury a headache but it could also be the agent team (could for example heal natasha's issue)
