[Encanto] 21 – Revelation

For a moment, I saw his eyes gleam before he answered, "Nor are you from Oblivion...so where do you hail from?"
"I come from outside, past Sithis, past the void," I told him, explicitly mentioning Sithis's realm that surrounded all of existence. I did not go into the complicated nature of the Multiverse, which I knew existed, though not what form. For all I knew, the Multiverse could be shaped like a bubble or a near-infinite amount of 'planes' stacked upon one another like glass. There was no telling until I tried finally leaving this reality and search for a way back home.
With a deep breath, I cast [Share Knowledge].
White glowing light surrounded my body before suddenly flowing into Salvos, showing to be remarkably similar to the technique the Greybeards upon the Throat of the World would use in the future to impart their knowledge of the Thu'um to the Last Dragonborn. In his mind, he saw towering rock, glass, and metal structures. Entire cities countless times larger than the Imperial City, a beautiful green, white, and blue orb from far above. From there, Salvos began seeing giant flying metal birds and metal carriages, and then, to top it off, he found himself watching as a miniature sun exploded into view in the distance, its sheer destruction rivaling that of the Divine. He saw everything I remembered: war, famine, death, disease, peace, prosperity, man's first step into the Stars, and so much more.
Then, the history of the world began to flow into his mind all the way up to the modern day just before my first death. I could see his eyes scrunch up as his head throbbed from the sheer amount of information pouring into his mind, and his gray skin turned pale as his mind tried to comprehend the images in his head. When I stopped imparting knowledge into his mind, I felt dry. I had used nearly a fourth of my Magicka to transfer the information. As we both stumbled, I raised my guard a bit, not knowing how my 'teacher' would react to the information I had given him. If he fought, I knew my chances of winning were slim, but I sure as hell would make it difficult for him and turn the College into ruins.
When he got his bearings, his eyes focused on me.
"...How?" He asked, shocked.
"I have a...gift, as you have seen, gifts that are inherent to my family," I tried to explain.
"Gifts?" Salvos questioned.
"Yes...gifts. As you have witnessed, my gift is spatial manipulation. My younger brothers Camilo and Antonio have the gifts of Shapeshifting and Animal Affinity. At the same time, my mother can control the Weather, and her sister has the gift of making miraculous food that can heal anything; there are more in my family with their unique gifts, but it's genetic to our family," I clarified, raising my hand to impart him with the images of my family and their use of their gifts.
"Fascinating, and I assume your descendants will have these...gifts as well?" Salvos asked, suddenly intrigued.
"More than likely, though, my children would have to undergo a ritual at a certain age to receive their gift, a ritual I do not feel comfortable discussing, though know it is not dangerous, just...personal," I informed the Archmage.
"I...see. This...Earth, why are there no references to magic?" Salvos asked, curious.
"That's because if it does exist outside of my Family, it's incredibly rare and...sparse on Earth, the planet of Humanity. Humanity developed along the path of Technology, similar to that of the Dwemer, but far more advanced in some ways, just without the use of magic, nor near as much steam or automatons, not that we were that close to even making something similar to the Dwemer's automata," I continued.
"But what about that...explosion? The one colored white, grey, and black?" Salvos asked.
"That...was an Atomic Bomb, one of the most destructive weapons Humanity ever created, one that nearly ended the world as we knew it," I explained.
"A...bomb? How did your people manage to make such a thing without magic?" Salvos asked, confused.
"Through countless trials and errors and sheer ingenuity with a bit of luck, we even managed to harness 'lightning' as a form of Energy and so much more, but...my home is...far, far away, and I fear it will take some time before I can even attempt to go home, but, I will get home even if it takes me decades," I told him seriously.
"I...see, I am afraid I do not know if I can be of much help to you..." Salvos guiltily informed me, appearing sad that there was little he could do to help me.
"You've helped me plenty. I am afraid if I didn't end up here, the way back home would have the problem taken much longer, not to mention what I have learned and am learning here is stuff I have dreamed about," I smiled, waving my hand, casting a custom [Magelight] that summoned multiple orbs above my hand of different colors and shapes, dancing above my palm.
He gently smiled at the display of magic.
"Is there anything...else you wish to speak to me about?" Salvos asked, noting my hesitance and usual focus on the lights dancing above my palm.
"Yes, and I fear you will not like it," his smile instantly turned to a frown as he waited for clarification.
"As I have shared with you...I plan on turning Winterhold, with your and the College's help to turn Winterhold into the most prosperous Hold of Skyrim, a place of learning and unity, and a place where people will come from faraway lands and nations to see Winterhold in all its glory and stay or seek to join the College. However...I...I there there are some particular groups that can be welcomed to the Hold so long as they follow the rules," I explained.
"What groups?" Salvos questioned, suspicious.
"As of now, there's only one group I am thinking of. To be specific, worshipers of Azura. I made a deal...to build her a shrine and sanctuary for her people in exchange for the Star of Azura," With one last sigh, I cast [Share Knowledge] and shared the meeting I had with Azura.
He jumped to his feet, "You FOOL! You sought out the Daedric Prince intentionally?! She could have easily cursed you or killed you!" Salvos shouted in anger, making me wince back.
"I am well aware, however, that as inhuman as Azura and the other Daedric Princes are, they can be reasoned with—well, some of them anyway," I commented.
"Yet you made a deal with Azura?!" Salvos retorted.
"Please, she may have a stick up her arse, but she can be reasoned with," I replied, noting his face pale at my insult to the equivalent of a 'God' in Elder Scrolls.
Before he could continue, I spoke up, "Will you help me?"
Salvos took a deep breath, "I will help...if I can."
"Great! Now, to discuss my plans to talk with some of the other Deadric Princes after I get the Star," I smiled at seeing him stumble.
