[The Blood God watches the battle with newfound excitement]

[The Wolf and Lamb watch the battle with confusion as the Streamer continuously evades Death]

[The Mad God of Cheese pulls out a bag of popcorn as he enjoys the bloody show before him]

Over and over, the man's body was destroyed by a hail of alien gunfire, tearing apart his body limb from limb, searing holes throughout his body, striking even vital places such as his heart and even his brain a few times. Yet, he got back up every time he went down, only to be struck back down.

The ground around him turned black and red from scorch marks and a literal pond of his own blood, and yet, more and more aliens arrived, forming a circle around his corpse to drown it with gunfire from their laser weapons at the slightest twitch of his body. Yet even then, a dozen alien bodies lay scattered around, having been slain by the man and the rusted sword that was lodged into the ground blade first several feet away from his body.

Just then, an unknown man carrying a red, white, and blue shield in an outfit flying the US colors and flag crashed into the alien soldiers, distracting them long enough for an inhuman howl to come from the corpse as it rushed to its feet for the sword. While most of the aliens focused on this new arrival, some noticed the moving corpse get up and begin to fire. Shot after shot pierced through the moving corpse's body, forming countless holes and even tearing off one of the corpse's arms, making them howl from the pain, but that did not stop them as they rushed forward and grabbed the rusted sword.

Grasping the sword in hand, the bloodied man missing an arm and covered with life-threatening injuries rushed towards the nearest alien, thrusting the sword as deep into the alien's gut as they could before ripping it out, covering the rusted sword in the alien's purplish blood, before he could make another step, an alien spear stabbed deep into his chest and into the ground, killing the man once again, only for the man to revive moments later with the spear still in their chest.

Gritting their teeth, the man grasped the spear and rolled to the side with all his weight and strength, ripping the spear out of the alien's hands before climbing to his feet and pulling it out of his chest with a howl of pain. Spear in hand, he swept the alien's feet out from under them and thrust the spear down into the alien's chest.

Pulling it out, the man raised it and aimed it at another nearby alien. A blue energy bolt slammed into the alien with a hum and blue glow, burning a hole right through it. Again and again, aliens fell one by one, the unknown man with a shield and the walking corpse, till nearly all of them lay dead around them.

[Issuing Reward: Knight's Greatsword]

With a flash of light, a greatsword featuring a rather large red handle appeared in the sky before falling to the ground.

With a blink of his eyes, the walking corpse saw the rusted sword not far from him disappear into motes of lights, lights that flowed into him, disappearing into the Darksign on his back.

[Mad God of Cheese was delighted by the performance of the Streamer and has gifted a roll of cheese]

Ignoring the literal wheel of cheese that splattered onto the ground and into a mix of the man's blood and the aliens, the man looked upon one Captain America, who was staring at the man with a disturbed gaze.

"Who are you?" the streamer asked, gazing in recognition at the man he saw in red, white, and blue but not wanting to show he knew it.

"Steve Rogers, Captain America...who...what are you?"

"Daniel Lewis...as for what I am, consider me an Undead," Daniel finally introduced himself.

[The Changer of Ways grows more curious as the stream continues]

"Un...Undead?" The Captain asked, confused.

"Yes. I cannot die, only go hollow," Daniel answered before suddenly ducking down as a metal humanoid figure flew overhead, with a dozen speeders chasing not far behind, one of which slammed into a building as Ironman took a sharp right turn down the street.

[The Great Lord of Decay desires the Streamer's body for his cauldron]

[The Prince of Excess moans upon seeing the excessive violence on screen]

[The Golden Emperor Entombed Upon a Throne looks upon the Streamer with pitty]

[The Keeper of Balance, The Lamb, and The Wolf look upon the Streamer with indignation]

'Indignation? They are mad that I cannot die?' Daniel thought to himself, glancing at the screens before back up to the battle across the massive city.

"Listen, we don't have time for a game of twenty questions. Work with your team and stop that guy up on Stark Tower, and close that damn portal before it gets even worse," Daniel stated quickly, stepping back and grabbing the massive great sword with some effort as yet another wave of aliens advanced towards the two men.

"Go, I'm fine," Daniel stated, seeing the hesitant superhero still standing there.

Taking a deep breath, the Undead rushed forward, teeth gritted and ready for the pain that would soon arrive. While the Captain wanted to stay and help, he realized that he had to focus on shutting that portal down.

"Stark, Thor, see if you can't shut that portal down and stop more from coming through!" Steve commanded through the comms while he rushed down the street in search of any more people under attack by the aliens; with how large and populated the city was, that didn't last long as he found a rather large group of the aliens storming into an apartment complex.

Shouting and drawing their attention, Captain America rushed forward head-on into the Aliens, blocking each bolt of energy with his shield.

Meanwhile, the Undead faced endless troubles with the aliens as he died time and again, but with each death he experienced, the better he improved himself against the alien menace. The aliens started becoming predictable, as they acted like mindless drones following set programming, quite suitable for slave soldiers for Thanos.

To make matters worse, the aliens weren't even that good at combat. Sure, they were slightly stronger and more agile than a human. Still, they were clumsy, prone to miss, and dangerously close to enemies despite the fact that they'd be better off fighting from a distance, though they made up for these weaknesses with sheer numbers and the Leviathans.

With all that in mind, it meant that there was a way to beat them; all that was needed was trial and error, and eventually, Daniel would learn all of their patterns, even if it took him a dozen deaths and horrific agony.
