oneshot character
Added 2021-08-04 09:44:53 +0000 UTCFor a oneshot a friend of mine dm'ed, a Fey Wanderer Ranger - first time playing a long range melee based character! Had quite a bit of fun figuring out the proper methods.
And of course I had to design the whole thing even though I might never return to this character ever again, that's just how it is.
Looking at character classes, I do believe I enjoy classes the most that can hold their own in melee, but still have a lil bit of casting abilities - that being said tho, in my current campaigns im playing a pure melee fighter, and a full casting sorcerer respectively, and still am fully invested in every little feature and play-style they have.
And then again, in case either one of my characters die, my current back-ups are a paladin and bladesinging wizard respectively, thus being a tank that can cast a little on the side, and a squishy spell caster that can take some hits a little if needed,, so I'm honing in on those subtle melee-to-magic ratios too (that is, if/once the opportunity comes to play them)
