Added 2019-10-27 20:34:04 +0000 UTCthank god I actually finished it before halloween,, I dont know what my current art style is doing, but I'm trying to take more control if that makes sense? Like you might notice the earlier stages being very contrast heavy with the values in the face, which just happens naturally with my paintings - heavy contrast - and I had to make conscious decisions to turn that way down, keep things simple. So I think I gotta get rid of some bad habits?
I'm still unsure about what exactly I'm trying to correct, all I know is that my painting style always automatically leans towards looking overly contrast heavy/ flat and weird if I don't have everything figured out from the getgo, i.e. if I improvise too much?
uuh it might come across that I don't know exactly yet how to put it into words, but I'll get there eventually,, and then I'll hopefully be able to find the right stuff that needs focus improving on from there on out.
