Sooo instead of investing the little hours I have at the end of the day into doing stuff like working on commissions or taking a shower so I dont have to wake up early tomorrow,, I felt compelled to make a new DnD character instead. Even though it might still be ages until a new session even gets mentioned, but I guess why not??
I've had the general concept of this guy in my mind from the moment my last character died months ago (black dragonborn bard, slipped on bloody stairs and got crushed by giant boar RIP) and despite having spent the last 2 hours looking stuff up and doing the design, I still haven't even touched the base stats or skills for this new guy yet :'I
The main idea is basically this; I imagine him being raised into a paladin, but still unable to surpress some of his natural cat-instincts/habits which lean way toward chaotic, sneaky types. The Oath of devotion is the "justice, honesty and order" type of stuff, the "do good and take responsibility" stuff. I picture him being in denial of his hoarding/stealing tendencies when confronted, and if caught, he'll of course be compelled to return said object/s (guiltily, but also very saddened). Maybe the DM will also grant some extra charisma points for the ensuing sad floofy cat-face so he won't get in too much trouble for it.
But hopefully his sneaking abilities as a catperson will help him avoid getting caught too often
Still a work in progress though obviously
