For an animation assignment, done in TV Paint ,15 individual frames- not every frame is "animated on two's" (aka dublicated) 4 separate frames are on "one's", since I initially didn't get the rhythm 100% right.
Before you wonder, the low placement of the knees is according to the modelsheet I worked off of, the character is "Aunt Betsy" from an animated David Copperfield movie.
Planning through the rotation of the hips might've been a bit unecessary considering it won't be very visible at the end - but I still think it was good to at least picture it since it directly dictates the counter rotation of the shoulders. The headbobbing feels a bit off timing wise, but I feel this is the closest I can currently get, as I wouldn't know for sure where exactly the feeling of "something is wrong" is coming from. Trying to correct it this late in the game would be just blindly tapping around.
BTW sketching out the flappy skirt was so much fun, since I could refer to my own love for walking in long flowy skirts for reference.
