Sneak-Peek: Casual Kida, sketchbook session, + upcoming content ✏️✨

Happy Friday everyone! 🤍 I hope you’ve all had a lovely week :)

This week I’ve been busy working on some new content for you guys! 🥰 As you all know, the tutorial topic that won the vote for this month is How to Create Stylized Fan Art, and since I’ll be working on the video this upcoming week I wanted to warm up with some fan art of Kida from Atlantis 🦋 I decided to draw a more casual/modern version of her, and I also want to draw a more detailed character sheet of her in casual clothes so this was a fun warm up! ☺️ Starting this next week I’ll begin working on filming and planning for the tutorial video :)

The other reason I wanted to draw Kida was to practice painting white hair, which is honestly something I usually struggle with 😅 But I learned sooo much from studying it in this drawing, so I decided I’ll be making a little bonus step-by-step tutorial for you guys on how to render white hair! So stay tuned for that 🥳

This week we started editing the draw with me video, but after going through all the footage, I noticed that all the clips were filmed in the wrong camera mode which made everything very fuzzy 🥲 So since I want to give you guys quality content, I sketched a new drawing and filmed that process and it looks much better 🤍 Haha now I’ve learned to always double check the camera mode before filming 😂 The draw with me video will be posted for you guys some time this weekend 🥰
