You really made her come across as sincere about her feelings for him. If all he did in his previous life was read books in his library, she probably did him a favor by involving him in her romantic adventure. In any case she knew what she wanted and took possession of it/him/whatever. Anyhow, I didn't hear him complain much. And, she shackled him to her and not just to the bed ;)
