2025-12-09 10:44:18 +0000 UTC*reads the last bit* Considering that Kurenai is kinda a crap teacher (considering this is her second go at it after the disaster that was her gig as the Sensei of the Kurama Princess), I can see her overestimating her own students and not realizing their limits. Asuma meanwhile chucked his team in the deepend fully expecting them to not pass, only to be pleasantly surprised when Shikamaru actually pulled it off. One is a crap teacher that cares for her kids to the point that it probably blinds her to the fact that they might not be ready for the incoming shitshow, and the other one is a decentish teacher that set them up for failure because it builds character. So yes Anko, yes they would.

2025-12-09 04:58:29 +0000 UTCYeah, reread the first portion of the first chapter. Apparently with the universal calibration, the AU of this world is gender lean towards female. With males miscarriaging in the womb if the konichi is too active. So in Naruto's class only Li, Sasuke and Shikamaru... And 'Naruto' with three other extras are male. The reverberation goes further out from there. Orochimaru gets hinted at in several chapters were Anko and other characters mention 'her'.
