It's and Eldritch world, and an Abridged world. Lee will start the first cult of rational thought where people are brainwashed to believe people outside the cult will have an explainable motivation for their actions. This cult must be stopped, and it's members brought to realize that the universe is chaotic and random with actions having no motivation and feelings having no basis to rationalize or understand they simply are.

Well, your character is naturally are prone to preaching their ideologies quite often. So seeing one of your characters go full Cultcifer, well that just percolates my interest. Here's hoping to little scenes of Lee accidentally stumbling upon groups of people in hoods committing rituals randomly throughout the different floors. Feeling a tingle in the back of his mind as a channel his thoughts of not being a douchebag, lols.

2025-11-09 07:17:36 +0000 UTCI just reread shrouds, and "All Shroud-bound gain a subconscious awareness of your desires, including ones that you have not made explicit, or are even aware of yourself." makes me think that there are going to be shinagains with this Lee no longer being fully human and not having fully human desires and those he binds feeling compelled to act on those desires as seen in this chapter. Then there are the the desires for love and companionship all humans have, that a Lee would never make an explicit order, but wouldn't need to with the shroud. Though his desire for people not to be dumbasses will probably cause the number of people who use cognitive reasoning in this world to double over night.
