G.R.R.M. has got some... ideas about medieval societies, that don't match up to history at all (his over-reliance on Calvary in warfare being one of the less contentious ones, ignoring the fact that Shock Troops are what the Romans be The Romans), and his setting is also a High Magic one masquerading as a Low Magic one, something that Skycifer, only being passibly familiar with the series as he is, has gotten wrong. The general plan for the Jump is in place, but, if it gets written or not is entirely dependent on if it get Kommissioned or not, because I have too many ideas, and not enough time to write them in.

To her, God made man in his image, and are given gifts by him, but it is up to the individual to use those gifts correctly. Integra might say that God is the Father, not the Master, and thus strength is not gained through Thoughtless Obedience, thus it is up to the each person to step up and live rightly, and in doing so follow his plan, but God would also allow, and account, for people to fail, if they wished, because Free Will exists, and thus strength is not faith-based, for if it were the forces of evil would be weak. Remember, you have to square the circle of 'Believes wholly in the Protestant God' and 'Best Friend/Right Hand is the King of Vampires'.

2025-08-29 22:27:30 +0000 UTCJust a thought but in this section from Integra, wouldn't it be potentially appropriate for her to reference God as a source of strength? Unless there is less emphasis on it in her particular denomination. I am not well versed in Protestant(?) beliefs but it was a thought that occurred and I figured I'd say something. Which was absurd. People were weak, flawed, and inherently sinful, and it was only through ruthless determination, unyielding discipline, and iron will that they rose above such things. It was why so many fell to Midians, and needed to be protected, unable to do so themselves. I look forward to more from this story! And to see what Nepo-Spyke will be like in the next Waifu-lution! And LWD! You write too many great stories I want (most of) them all! I cannot latch onto MSP, I don't know why, I've tried about 5 times.
