What scant information we’ve gathered is about the shapes they take while trying to blend in with humanity, or the forms they use to attract and feed on prey. If my theories are correct, and I really am changing into a full succubus, this will be our first real glimpse at what they really are… the creature each of them conceals beneath their skin.

Speech and mimicry are important tools for Succubi, so they have very dextrous and malleable organs in their throat that they can use to talk. At this point, Lily can perfectly replicate how she spoke before her transformation, as well as replicate other voices and sounds she hears (much to Dr Foster's annoyance).

Her hands don't look like they're great at writing or typing. Is her speech otherwise unaffected by having a tongue of that size?
