Abysm - Dangerclose

No air left, sometimes getting the last sliver of the boss HP is all that matters. Of course that only works if your opponent is mortal to begin with.
I'm also working on bringing more of Abysm's lore forward, reintroducing Persephone as an antagonist. She's a bat (technically) but the Abyss has a way with mutating and changing its inhabitants. Her design is based off a phantom jellyfish with added bioluminescent chaser tendrils in her eye lashes and other body parts. She's controlled by the Abyss itself like a puppet but cannot leave its claustrophobic corridors.
I'll draw much more of her as I hone the ideas a bit more.
More matilda soon, missed working on her.
