On Wings of Steel - Chapter 18
Added 2020-09-13 19:45:11 +0000 UTCDamn, I was hoping to have this chapter done last Sunday but I spent the better part of this week tweaking it back and forth. I'm still not happy how it turns out. The flow is awkward and I don't think I managed to deliver the tension I was going for.
Anyway, I either put it out or keep it to myself forever so here goes nothing.

I could have kept going but the fight and the immediate aftermath are going to be at least one chapter's worth of content and if I wrote it it would have taken me another week at best to go anywhere. I preferred to cut it off right there so that I can work better on the second part.
