Before starting sketch and gathering some good references to make fur look as close as possible, I found out a lot of interesting facts, stories, even legends and myths about norwegian forest cats... there is a lot!

Otherwise I'm really happy about the technical side of this painting, the process felt more consistent and with less re-working were I figured out and learned new ways to paint specific parts :]
