I read this a long time ago and saw it when I was looking for things to read that were in the public domain. I thought it was a pretty interesting story even reading it again. Let me know what you think of it too and if you would like me to do more like this. (I will gladly accept any short stories or poem recommendations! as long as they are in the public domain so patreon doesn't get mad 😅)

I tried to keep my voice soft in these in case people fall asleep in them, so I'm glad to hear it worked!! I really enjoy reading stuff like this so I will certainly keep making these as long as you guys enjoy listening to them 😊 (in fact I will be posting another reading later today)
