Mega Holiday Pack (PART ONE: Story)

Hello, one and all!

For the past month, I've completely bunkered down set out to create the biggest batch of content I've made so far. Having bought new and higher quality brushes for painting my maps, I have set out to create a complete overhaul of DungeonDraft, which will not only allow me to create bigger and better-looking maps but also allow me to create more variants of each one. Something I'll showcase in my holiday pack PART TWO, by doing a forest, snow, and desert version of this holiday map. Repurposed as a brewery instead of a workshop.

DUNGEONDRAFT

For the Dungeondraft users, this is will be a full overhaul of the software, I've finished the materials, the terrains, the tilesets, most paths, walls, and portals and I'm up to about 700 new objects. I'll do a how-to video to showcase how I use the assets and add in shadows in photoshop for my PART THREE later this week (or the next one).

This is the big one.

As you can see I've also added a custom adventure prompt for my latest map. A holiday adventure and some of you following me on social (or the discord) will have also seen previews of the next adventure prompt I'm working on. Which will be more of an adventure setting really.

Which will feature a collection of maps (that can either be used bundled together as a city/town battlemap or separately for adventures outdoors. I'll be trying to create variants of each map like I'll be showcasing in PART two of this holiday pack.

For now, I will focus on getting all the maps formatted, finished, and uploaded asap. Next up I will probably release the "demo" (about 75% finished) of my complete overhaul, which I plan on finishing up next month.

Stay Tuned for PART TWO

Kind Regards,

Bert | Crosshead

I've just updated the dropbox to help figure it out a bit better. The LAST MONTH section always has the latest content in it. It contains the last 3 months of work, each in a separate folder per month. The map folder is also updated to hopefully make it easier to access. I'd love to hear anyone out about alternative options for keeping my content easy to access in a folder online, I had planned on adding in easy links on my website in due time but each additional system takes time setting up. I could definitely see about adding in a TIMESTAMP system to maps in the folders (as a means of linking them to posts I create here).

Can you help me out as well? I don't know where to download these. I've been a supporter for a few months but it's always difficult to figure out where to go. I'm following you and giving you money because I like your maps, but honestly whatever system you're using makes it difficult to download your maps. I don't think you're doing it on purpose but if you could make downloads easier and distinguish between them it would be greatly appreciated. At this point I find it very difficult to tell what I've already received and what's new. Just notate it by month and week, or Patreon reward #, etc. Drop box sucks as a download point. I'm hoping you can find something better so your backers can figure out what rewards they've received and those that they haven't.

Hype! Looking forward to what's coming up! Such awesome work!

I'm currently finishing up all alternative versions, I'll update the links asap. Just wanted to get the prompt out with enough time before Christmas, so rushed that part a bit quicker. I'll post another update soon

An overhaul of dungeondraft? Are you the creator of that too?

Richard Fraser

Where are the download links for these? Probably just not seeing the dropbox
