Martsie vs Android 21 Project Update (+ Thumbnail #1 Concept)
Added 2025-03-29 17:00:10 +0000 UTCI have a good update for you guys about the Martsie v 21 project! Well TWO updates technically.
1.) All lines have been recorded and submitted!
No more waiting for everyone to send in their parts! It's already done now. This means that I can begin editing and putting the video together starting with the vocals and sounds. Editing will officially begin on April 1st since I'll be spending these next 2 days celebrating someone's birthday.
2.) Thumbnail #1's (Main Thumbnail) Concept
Previously I shared the concept for Thumbnail #2 with you guys (The JoJo reference) so I figured I'd share thumbnail #1's concept as well.
This one's more chaotic than what #2 and #3 will look like, but you can basically see that I took key poses/moments from DBZ history and I plan to have Martsie & Android 21 fill those roles. Sorta like an homage thing. I originally wanted to recreate a moment from each saga (Saiyan, Namek, Android/Cell, Buu) but the iconic poses from the Frieza saga didn't necessarily fit BOTH Martsie & 21. They really fit either one or the other, so I just said "screw it. I'll take the Vegito one".
How did this idea start?: I was only going to have Martsie & A.21 recreate the SSj3 Goku biting Kid Buu moment, but then these other moments came to mind and I thought "I wonder if I can get all of these in one picture while also showing Jiren" (since they're fighting over him) and this was the end idea. I'm pretty pleased with it!
The image above is just an ugly doodle that I drew up to give the artist an idea of what I meant, so don't worry LOL that's not how it will look. The artist will work on this for the whole month of April so I'll send progress updates when he sends them my way!
Thanks again for your patience everyone! It's all coming together. The wait is slowly coming to an end!
