Okay, now that it has been said, just going to say it here: Officially speaking, from Tite (said like Tight) Kubo, 'Orihime has Chestnut Brown Hair.' Thus, it's not orange like Ichigo's hair. It's actually supposed to be a light brown-ish color, which, when she's in shadow, it does look like, but for some reason they misinterpreted her hair color while Kubo was busy making his series. Her flashback about kids cutting her hair are them jealous of how long it is, and now about the hair color. I just wanted to clarify that here since it came up naturally (I messaged Karlii about it while on my Bleach binge.... okay that looks worse than intended...), but yeah Chestnut Brown animation team made it that Orange color, but officially she just has brown hair.
