Is anyone else falling into a healthy rhythm now?
Personally, June felt like a month when I picked up my slack and actually got to work. It was time to hit the pavement and make actual plans, get myself going. With BLM and so much political change happening, I felt stronger and more in control of certain aspects of my life. I had a voice and used it to support movements I believe in, and that really made me feel less crummy about the world's situation as a whole because I believe that people are beginning to wake up and fight for what is right. REAL change.. I'm so proud of my peers and community for being largely vocal and supportive of all the progress being made!
Along with all of the above, having a pal around the house has done absolute WONDERS for my mental health! Penelope is scheduled for her spay this Thursday and ya know... foster mama is worried about her girl. I love her to bits - I think she's mine. :)
This update, like all the other updates for the past year... this monthly message includes a house update, haha... I've got the last walls on the main floor left to paint in the hallway, and then the third bedroom will be painted before baseboards and doors get painted and/or replaced... but I'm so happy it's coming together!
And as for work... your girl has finally begun scheduling the odd online tethered photoshoot! I've been nervous to begin, but I feel like it's finally time! Have any of you ever wanted to do a shoot with me? This could be a cool little experiment! :) Let me know if that would interest you at all via message!
